The song was released last week and today the video for the track has launched, of course featuring the super excellent animation that we are used to see from the Gorillaz. Doctor P last episode was aired last week and is full of massive drops, bass and just pure filth. He started cutting hair and he is now one of the most respected DJs in his style. One hour mixing Nero, Koan Sound, Dillon Francis and many more. Just what you need to disconnect your mind after a long monday!

Little bit about his origins...Luis Pellot, better known as "Dr. P", decided to venture into the world of rap when watching other performers and their impact on young people, felt the need to bring their life experience in a positive and encouraging. With his new album titled "Dr. P", this aims to create a trend within the genre of rap setting a positive precedent in our society.

With its
music ministry Dr. P set as their goal to change the perception of the image we have of a rapper, living a life and singing lyrics that show that God is not a strict religion and guilt, but the Creator and Lord should govern and make our way of life. The lyrics in the songs of Dr. P intended just that ...

"These are
experiences that God has allowed in my life, some positive and others necessary for me to understand what my true purpose. That is the focus of my music: that no matter how vile and despicable that we may be, God knows and He knows the best thing you can do, is sin and what He wants is to enter your heart, not to judge or ridicule, but to make you a person who understands what you were created, "said Pellot.

Luis Pellot born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on December 23, 1976. He attended primary school in July Seijo, the Secondary School Manuel Ruiz Gandia and then at the College Dr. Mary Cadilla. With the illusion of development in the sports area is transferred to Truman College in Chicago, but soon returned to Puerto Rico where he began his career as a barber in 1997.

Digitalism - Sleepwalker (original mix)

Currently the great german duo, Digitalism are touring arround the world, and although as recently said in an interview for 8tracks (an internet radio and social networking site revolving around the concept of streaming user-curated playlists Consisting of at least 8 tracks) to the quiestion "Are You Able to produce new music on the road?"

We don’t like it but we get used to it. When we have time off and we’re DJing we’re trying new material out and see how the audience reacts. It’s cool that people are sometimes realize that we’re playing something new, or they don’t realize it and the reaction is really great. It’s important sometimes to DJ to see how the stuff is working.

Indeed they are still producing new material, "Sleepwalker" is the proof. Taking a touch to his latest album, with a quiet base and vocals makes it sound even a little indie. But very good!

We also can't ignore that, in the interview, Jens qualified their albums from this perspective:

The new one is a bit more down to earth. We also thought if the first was more spaced out and the second was on the ground, maybe the third will be really underground.

I think that it's great hear things like this, in the variety is the fun, isn't it?. I can't wait to hear these new sounds!

The Date Night - A Friend In Paris

The Date Night is the alter ego of Mike Lavage, a DJ turned producer from New York, who blurs the line between commercial pop and electro-thumping electronic. Surrounded by music from a young age, Lavage began playing in New York and New Jersey locals. His passion is evident by the variety of musicians who have influenced him over the years including Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers, Michael Jackson, The Beastie Boys, LCD Soundsystem, The Beach Boys, Queen and James Brown.

His live shows, that have been described as 'a dirty dance party', are known for his madness and wildness, and The Date Night explains it in that way:
People come expecting a certain type of show after hearing my music, but I think they are pleasantly surprised when they come to see me live and see its nothing like what they expected.

He has released his second full-length studio album A Friend In Paris, and thanks to regular airplay of the first single Ghosts on BBC's Radio 1, the album is already generating favorable buzz and a new fan base.

Crystal Castles - Suffocation (New Video)

It has passed a long time since Ethan Kath and Alice Glass, known as Crystal Castles made a new video two years ago. In this time, we have seen a lot of remixes of the Canadian band songs, like Intimate, Celestica, Baptism or Untrust Us.

Even a wonderful collaboration with The Cure's vocalist, Robert Smith, who put his voice in the song Not In Love, for its second studio album Crystal Castles II. There is two versions of this album, because it was leaked online a month before to be released, and just only the second one include the Robert's version. You can listen to the first one here.

On 23rd of February the band, in collaboration with Vs Magazine, released new material from these album with the anticipated video of Suffocation, which was directed by Ethan and shot in the ruins of an abandoned mansion of New York.

Now they are in Warsaw recording their third studio album and it will be released this summer. We will stay alert! Meanwhile, here there are some remixes of CC that you can't leave to listen to.

Enjoy!

YUKSEK - Off the Wall (video and Brodinski's remix)

Definately one of the best tracks from his last album 'Living The Edge Of Time'. After his video for "Always on the run" Yuksek  bring us the last video that will be launched next monday 27th.
The aftermath: ‘Living On The Edge Of Time’, an album inspired by the numbness of life on the road, the feeling of being alone in a crowd and constant need for creative exploration – but also a collection of unabashed, jubilant pop tunes; introspect and uplifting at the same time

But besides the video, this song has been remixed majestically by one of the most exciting djs and producers to explode onto the scene in recent years. Of course we are talking about Brodinski and his encompass noisy techno, bass heavy house through to more melodic minimal that makes of this track a masterpiece.

PELUSSJE "Blue Demon" - Official Video

We talked about this huge original track a few posts ago. Now the Italian duo of wrestlers are back with a killer video for their track 'Blue Demon'...WILL BE SAFE IN THE DARK

DJ Falcon mix for Vulture Music

To celebrate the very last evening at the Social Club, Vulture Music present a superb mixtape by Stephane Queme also known as DJ Falcon.

He is the man behind hits like «So much love to give» and «Together» co-produced with Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk) and signed on the French record label Roulé. In 1999, we also discovered his EP «Hello my name is DJ Falcon» on Roulé. He is part of the "french touch" generation and comes from an artistic family. With a cousin like Alan Braxe (Stardust, Vulture) and Delphine Queme (Bureau Records) it is only normal that this young photographer put his creativity into music as well.

Falcon has been contributing remixes for many artists such as PHOENIX and CASSIUS (LA MOUCHE) and has since 10 years been touring around the world playing alongside CHEMICAL BROTHERS "South American tour", DAFT PUNK "Alive Tour", and with his friends from ED BANGER and KITSUNÉ. His DJsets are inspired by a touch of electro, old school, house classics, indie dance and new rave.

Always travelling around the world with a camera, surfboard and record bag there aren't many places Falcon hasn't visited already. As a DJ he has played all across the world at almost every prestigious club you can imagine from PACHA & PRIVILEGE IBIZA, FABRIC LONDON, REX PARIS, COCOON FRANKFURT, WOMB TOKYO, MIAMI WMC and he has several times been touring Australia and US.

Falcon will be back tomorrow in Paris Social Club with Alan Braxe, The Magician, & Xander Milne.

SebastiAn Remixes Must Be The Feeling

It will sound amazing but we have never talked properly about the cool side of Ed Bagner family. Now he is back remixing to Nero.
SebastiAn has followed such an impressive path that it's hard to believe.
But the facts are clear: after several EPs (H.A.L, Smoking Kills, Ross Ross Ross, Motor), a record compiling his many remixes for Daft Punk, Kelis and the Kills among others (Sebastian Remixes) and a co production of the soundtrack for the film Steak with Sebastien Tellier and Mr Oizo, in which he also played one of the leading roles. Ever elusive, he unveiled yet another side of his creativity in composing a philharmonic score for Notre Jour Viendra, Romain Gavras first film.

One of the creators, along with Justice, of the Ed Banger sound, he is without a doubt the label's most unusual figure. An iconoclast maverick he readily defies the rules to deliver a dirty and violent kind of techno that coughs and spits; music to his image: human and visceral. Super prolific and constantly effervescent this musician has managed, in the space of a few years, to redefine electronic music and is ready to astound everyone once again with his last remix. It is still just a preview, but you will love it!

Lights by Ellie Goulding (Back From The Future Remix)

From San Diego to the future. Cheyenne Giles and Joe Garcia (aka Back From The Future) are a a brand new couple of DJ producers born in San Diego. This hard electro duo has remixed this track from Ellie Goulding with a dubstep touch that the original track needed so much.

"Lights" by Ellie Goulding has been remixed by an endless stream of extremely talented producers, however, Back From The Future manage to set a new standard by using intricate, incredibly distinct sound design, mixed with flawless production value. Assaulting your ears with a piercing wobble bass, and an intriguingly catchy, chopped up vocal melody this banging free download is a must have melodic club banger, and will surely get the whole audience dancing in excitement and recognition!

Get it while is hot for free!

ZE!, Antichrist & Will Morris - Rape Me (Nirvana Cover)

On 20th of February Kurt Cobain would be 45, so to remember the birth of this rock star a lot of bands has wanted to do their own tribute.

One of them has been Antichrist, with the Malaysian electro-pop artist ZE! (aka S.uper A.ce E.lectro R.ebelle or also previously known as Saer Ze) and the drummer Will Morris. They have done their particular tribute with this cover of Rape Me, an original vision of a song of one of the biggest rock band.

Enjoy!

Have you met Cherokee?

Hey, you know this group? I hope not (or not much), but this post would not make much sense ...

Cherokee is a French electronic group. Launched in 2011 by Terence N'Guyen and Dorian Miche, the duo heads for a house sound recalling the French electronic productions of the late nineties.

The adventure for this guys begins when they released independently their first single Onset followed by two other tracks.

They entered the family of french label Shiny Disco Club by offering a second single Take Care Of You, which came out with a video clip directed by Thomas Marin (Achangeinanchor).

Now we leave you with his last two jobs. The first is an incredible remix of a song known by everyone (I hope) and a mixtape to give you an idea of how these guys work.

Martin Solveig - The Night Out (A-Trak remix)

A-Trak, the Montreal-born, Brooklyn-based DJ/producer has taken this track, from the next Martin Solveig' EP, and has remixed it with creativity and highly melodic uptempo to rock the party! Without a doubt one of the world’s hardest-working DJs, A-Trak has made his mark by consistently .His rise to turntablist stardom at an early age cemented his role in DJ history by winning multiple DMC championships and touring the world. The well-rounded impresario has since been Kanye West’s DJ, launched his own label Fool’s Gold Records, and has tenaciously held down the blogosphere through his frequent contributions to over 5 well known blogs.

And for Martin Solveig the year is just beginning...2012 will be like no other for the unassuming master, whether it’s headlining festival stages, including a debut performance at Coachella, or performing on national TV the world over for millions of viewers. Everything the man approaches, he does with the same intensity and flare that has spanned his entire career; he has an innate ability to make each and every person in a room feel welcome, invited and free of inhibitions. At the end of the day this boils down to one thing, Martin Solveig is one of the most exciting and talented performers in the world.

'The Night Out' EP will be released in April, including this remix, till then enjoy  what A-Track has for you!!

Nero - Must Be The Feeling Remixes

Did anybody say retrofuturistic? Daniel Stepehens, Joseph Ray with Alana Watson, also known as Nero, have a new video for their well known track 'Must Be The Feeling'. Future-vandalism and massive beats combined majestically in this short movie!

Nero's new single 'Must Be The Feeling', taken from their debut album 'Welcome Reality' on MTA Records, has already been remixed for 4 names that will sound pretty familiar to your ears: Kill The Noise, Delta Heavy, Funkagenda, and Flux Pavilion collaborating with the own British electronic band.

The first one from Kill The Noise is one of the best of this serie of remixes. Jakob launches his particulary dubstep for this CD that will be available on March 4th.

The next comes from Delta Heavy. And besides being in free download, what is enough amazing, is in my opinion the best of these. Dirty sounds for your headphones!

Nero presents us with Flux Pavilion, on a remix much darker than the original.

And to end, a little bit of progressive electro from Funkagenda! He asked Nero for permission to give his  version of "Must Be The Feeling" to his fans for free and he accepted. That's why this incredible remix of Funkagenda can be downloaded from his account Soundcloud!

Miike Snow - Paddling Out and Remixes

Miike Snow is – are – in a playful mood. The second, somewhat orchatronic, album by the three-headed-band with the one-man-name and mysterious Jackalope symbol is called Happy To You.

The Swedish electronic band just released the official video for "Paddling Out", the first single from his new album 'Happy To You', which goes on sale next March 27th.
From this second album was already known 'Devil's Work', a song that despite having been published last year, the trio did not consider a promotional single

Happy To You and happy to be here: Miike Snow are back with a big, bold, bright, colourful album bristling with tunes and (break)beats and ideas and more tunes – yes, that is an orchestra, and fo’ sure, that is a marching band – and it’s not so long since they were last here.

The rest of the djs are already working on remixes for this massive album. The best till now come from Jacques Lu Cont and Wolfgang Gartner, who presented it in Pete Tong's show on Radio 1.

Daft Punk Fourth Album

Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter are already working on what will be the fourth studio album by French duo, though, as usual, neither has confirmed. It was one of his associates, Nile Rodgers, who has predicted it will be a record "amazing."

The release of the soundtrack for Tron: Legacy in late 2010 left a bad taste in mouth to fans of Daft Punk was a soundtrack to use and not one of the usual electronic work group. So, now over six years since the last studio album the duo (Human After All, 2005) and his followers have been waiting for a new job, which is rumored to inquire into the shed more R & B of Daft Punk

The latest news about coming to confirm these rumors, because the musician Nile Rodgers has confirmed that it is working at his home in New York with Homem-Christo and Bangalter in something that could be a new album of duets.
Rodgers is a legend of disco, R & B and funk. In the late 70's he formed the band Chic, which maintained its success even in the 80 and as a producer and songwriter has been involved in iconic albums like David Bowie Lets Dance or Madonna Like a Virgin. "These kids are great, come to my apartment on Monday and let's talk about making a new album together," explained Rodgers Culture Map Houston, in a statement that other media were quick to confirm.

Naturally, in the interview they asked the man to go deeper. “It’s funny I’ve known Daft Punk for some time now but we were never really close – we never got a chance to hang out with each other, we would just meet in passing,” he happily continued. “So today was the first chance we had to spend hours and hours together and it was just so awesome. Every track they played I just ran across the room and got my guitar and started playing and we were all dancing around my dining room having the time of our lives. It was something that was meant to be. It was interesting how Thomas said to me: ‘It’s funny Nile, it’s like we’ve completed the circle’. We’ve always just met, just had a moment to talk and then finally today we just said, this is something that has to happen.

“The best projects I’ve ever been involved in have always been like that: we vibe on an artistic level first – same thing happened with me and Bowie. Like Bowie, they can speak in abstract terms and I know exactly what they’re talking about. So it was funny, at one point I said, ‘You’ve been talking for two hours and you haven’t actually said exactly what you’re talking about, but I know what you mean.’ It’s all the nuances of music and who a person is as an artist, concepts, where that concept is now in the arch of life – all of that type of stuff, which is what I really understand.”

Thus, Consequence of Sound again asked the musician on the matter soon after. "We're just playing at home, but it will be serious and real. Came the other day at breakfast and it was at night, so I basically had to put out into the street," he said."We're having fun in an informal work we decided to make formal. It is VERY formal. Going to be amazing," says Rodgers, who only makes it clear that's going great moments with the French.

But Neil isn't the only contributor to the disk, since in recent months the name Daft Punk has been linked with composer Paul Williams, the experimental musician Panda Bear (Animal Collective) and the Canadian musician Chilly Gonzales.

Kavinsky's New Album

It may seem incredible but for the first time we write about him in the blog...so let's do it right!!
Born out of the imagination of electronica composer Vincent Belorgay, Kavinsky is the fictional character who graces the covers of both Teddy Boy and 1986, Belorgay's first two EPs. The illustrated Kavinsky bears a striking resemblance to the French DJ himself, although the backstory Belorgay created to go with his pseudonym is far removed from the artist's own modest history.
The story goes that after crashing his Testarossa in 1986, Kavinsky reappeared as a zombie in 2006 to make electronic music. Luckily for Belorgay, his zombie tale serves as a good story line for a music video, as he demonstrated with the single "Testarossa Overdrive," from the Teddy Boy EP.
Belorgay stumbled upon electronic music by chance, when he was given a discarded Apple computer by Quentin Dupieux, also known as Mr. Oizo. The fully loaded Apple lead to Kavinsky's first tracks while several roles in Mr. Oizo's music videos and the film #Steak gave him an opportunity to meet record label executives. A recording contract followed shortly after Belorgay presented his first tracks to Record Makers head Marc Tessier du Cros.

In 2006, Vincent Belorgay, under the pseudonym Kavinsky, released his first EP, Teddy Boy. The 1986 EP followed in 2006 and Kavinsky was soon touring with Justice, SebastiAn and Daft Punk. In 2008, he released a third EP, Blazer, on the Fool's Gold label and began working on his first full-length album.
This one will be released soon (there is not a date confirmed yet). One of the tracks extracted from the movie 'Drive' is 'RoadGame', that we can already listen below this post.

Another band that is going to release a new album is Daft Punk, but we will post longer about that.
Till we could listen the full album of "Surkin's father" here you have the track and a remix by Airwankers to whet your appetite!

An idea about the favorite dutch due Zanger Rinus. This is what happened when Zanger Rinus & Deborah received a promotape of their "Make you pop" track...

Masks are on, sweat too. The ring is the dancefloor. But fists are just thrown in the air, slaps are from their flaming sounds, and dianabol just flows trough their massive basslines. That massacre has the Sidechain Massacre's tag on it, and with their sharp techniques these 'luchadores de la console' will let you totally breathless.Warm up your muscles people, this will be a 'no rules' match. On the blood-red corner let me introduce you the Pelussje. On the other one, you.
Ding! ding! ding! VAMOS A LA LUCHA!

This time is about our own fight. An inner, violent, introspective but glorious fight. That day that was just us VERSUS us.
It was the hardest match, a long scary journey through our own darkness.
And behind a corner we found him, the BLUE DEMON.
He knew us. He was a giant, sinister, obscure figure. We were scared about him,
because we knew it, with him we'd have seen what we've never seen before.
With him we get hurt, we hit rock bottom, but he told us who we were.
And at the end, when everything seemed lost he spoke about him.
His shining, bright, beautiful twin.
His name was EL SANTO.

Feed Me's Escape From Electric Mountain (new EP)

Finally Feed Me dropped his latest EP, Feed Me’s Escape From Electric Mountain. And it’s the perfect mix of electro house and dubstep.
This was released on Mau5trap, Deadmau5′s label, which makes sense with his similair sound, yet crunchier. Even you can listen carefully "Relocation" and know a new face of Feed Me, I've taken the liberty of naming it FeedMau5. The rest of the album have the typical superawesome Feed Me's dubstep with tracks like "One Click Headshot" or something more experimental like "Trichotillomania". And to make this new EP something huge Feed Me have had the collaboration of great artists like Hadouken, Gemini and the sweet voice of Lindsay (All awesome tracks).
This EP is for sale only, purchase through iTunes or Beatport.

Dillon Francis - Something, Something, Awesome EP

Do you remember Dillon Francis? Yeah the dubstep master, that coming from nowhere, has broken, during the last year, the concepts we believed had clear on this style of music.
Now he returns to OWSLA (Skrillex’s label) with three new songs under the arm. The EP called Something, Something, Awesome is to speak of a simple way...something awesome!!
The previes of these tracks have been released in his Youtube's account and they will see the light of the day on February 14th. Such a lovely day to drop these 3 masterpieces:

Antichrist have now officially been making music for a whole year! This band has managed to rise dramatically, perhaps for its mix of electro and dubstep and... do not know, who gives a shit? are good at what they do and that's what it takes.
