Hi! the notice here is that Van She are back!
In the early july their sophomore record, 'Idea Of Happiness', will be out internationally.
Take a listen to the first cut and title track below to get a taste of things to come.
Recorded, engineered and produced by the band themselves in Kings Cross, Sydney and mixed in Los Angeles with Tony Hoffer (the perfect man for the job with a resume that includes work with Beck, Air, Phoenix and M83), the final result is so uplifting it's practically levitational.
Playlisted right after he started out by
some of the biggest names in electronic music such as SebastiAn,
Kavinsky, and the Bloody Beetroots ; it did not take him long time to be
seen as part of the new French Electronic Generation. The French
student's confusing name comes from his Irish roots, to which he has
always stayed true. Irish Steph spent 15 years of his life learning how
to play piano, violin, bass and drums and finally devoted himself to
making music with a computer. The young man surprised the public
with a mature sound which finds its roots in funk, rock, and classical
but also in traditional Irish music. Two EP releases followed on French
record label Paranoiak : 'Power' in September 2010 and 'Crush' the
following year, which had been playlisted by BBC Radio 1 (Kissy Sell Out
and Nick Grimshaw), Le Mouv' (Laura Leishman Project), and FG Dj Radio
(French Government). Following a run of concerts throughout France
with acts including Etienne de Crecy, Birdy Nam Nam, Fukkk Offf and many
others, Irish Steph is now back reworking Da Funk!
Pendulum formed in their home-town of Perth (Western Australia) in 2002, when producers Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen teamed up with acclaimed local DJ Paul 'Elhornet' Harding. While their individual formative roots ranged from producing drum & bass, breakbeat and hardcore, to playing in metal and punk bands, their comparable talents proved an unstoppable force when they managed to single-handedly conquer the world of drum & bass in their first 12 months together.
And the theme of this post is that this guys recently have made a remix of the well-known track of Prodigy "Voodoo People". And have counted with the help of the director Ron Scalpello to make a great video. The track gets a techo/drum and bass induced update by experimental Aussie upstarts Pendulum. Needless to say, it doesn't quite match the original, but it still delivers a techo-fused boot to the throat. Enjoy.
Another month, another mixtape of The Magician. This is number 21, we don't know how many more will do, so we have to enjoy it!

It seems incredible that at this point this is the first post in which we mentioned directly to Moonlight Matters... Any way for those who do not know Moonlight Matters is what happens when the sun goes down, The mood is right, and creativity is set loose...
Sebastiaan Vandevoorde's style is hard to pinpoint but certainly has no lack of personality, his versatility is his strongest point and he's always able to adjust to the right mood for any kind of smart-witted melodic dance music with a great wow factor. His music won't just set your feet on fire and tear up a crowd, it will also make your mind tickle in a surprisingly emotional fashion.
The Phantom's Revenge has a gift for us today! Is seen that he have reached some good numbers of followers on Twitter, Facebook and SoundCloud and their way of being grateful is with an incredible free remix!
A curious thing is that in fact The Phantom's Revenge has not changed
the song but the original where Bangalter took "Colossus". Any way,
enjoy!
We could make a very long post only talking about the artists and the 25 tracks included in the latest compilation, ultimately electro, that Dim Mak have done called "New Noise Volume 2". But we're lazy, so I'll leave you with what Steve Aoki has said about this collection and enjoy!
“I’ve personally signed all these tracks from all different sounding EDM artists ranging from Dubstep to Electro House to Progressive to Drum & Bass. This is the NEW NOISE advancing electronic music into the next years from breaking artists that continue to define and re-define electronic dance sounds. This second volume features 25 different artists including: Nickel (ex-Hey Today), Savage Skulls & Douster, Beltek, Blatta & Inesha, Nid & Sancy, Tocadisco, Chewy Chocolate Cookies and more."
Louis La Roche after his latest single Untrue & Touch Wood without leaving his production studio today presents us with a remix of "Marius - Come With Me".
Here is the remix:
Here is the second single from Surkin's first full length, USA.
Includes a (kind of) radio friendly mix of Lose Yourself and its a cappella, remixes by Rustie and Brodinski and a Live Edit of INYN. Enjoy!
A few days ago we listened to some of the remixes that will be included in the Martin Solveig's forthcoming EP "The Night Out". Continuing with the tracks on this EP including, today we are again with A-Track, is that Martin liked the remix he did and wanted to do a rework of the new version. Very good too.
Continuing with A-Trak let's see his last job: Three 6 Mafia's Juicy J is true Southern rap royalty on a hot streak of new music. And Danny Brown is rap's rookie of the year, a critically acclaimed mic wrecker and budding style icon. Together with A-Track, these three party professionals have come up with "Piss Test," a speaker-detonating slice of gleefully antisocial Parental Advisory rap that serves as the first teaser off Loosies, the upcoming Fool's Gold hip hop compilation. Play this at high volume, preferably in a residential neighborhood.
Alex Mind is a name to remember these days when
it comes to pioneering. He is one of those responsible for a new stylist
electro house that is being followed by many worldwide. It is
responsible for many hits played by renowned djs and has made
partnerships with big names like Electrixx, Lazy Rich, Far Too Loud,
Will Bailey, Toby Emerson and many other great artists. This rapidly
emerging musician/producer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has been
developing his unique and intricate productions since 2005. His style is
recognized by his heavy basslines influenced by a variety of electronic
music sub-genres, with mixtures of melodic progressive atmospheres
merged with complextro electro house, and elements derived from techno.
If you listen harshness, beauty melodies and intelligent bangin drops in
music, you can just call it Alex Mind style.
Bonjour les amis! 'Slow Down' is the name of the next EP which is preparing the French electro duo from Caen signed on Kitsuné, Beataucue. Currently they are touring and nothing was known of the EP, but hey, we've got a mini mix of it and you can download it for free!
Today we bring an inreleased mixtape of DJ Mehdi, one of the greats of electronic music and Ed Bagner family. It is an unreleased 40-minute DJ set that was played in Stones Throw vs. Ed Bagner party and recorded on march 6th, 2009 at Le Bataclan (Paris). Enjoy.
We will never forget you Mehdi.
Music Stays For Ever.
Just in case you managed to miss it somehow, the new Radio Soulwax hour (Featuring the Soulwax remix of the Arcade Fire that's sent the world a bit crazy) can now be seen here!!!
The third leg in a trilogy of hours that contain animations that 2manydjs have made for the Under The Covers live DJ show, this one is decidedly more danceable. It mainly consists of a recent releases and has a few exclusive unreleased tracks, with some classics thrown in for good measure.
They start out with Saam Farahmand's amazing trailer for RSWX called "Machine" which was a joy to play in front of big audiences if only to see people's reactions on their faces, and continue onwards with what is possibly the most party-friendly show on RSWX yet.
This mix contains quite a few Belgian tracks, and only one animation that was made for a specific market, see if you can guess which one it is.
After one of the best album of 2011, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, M83 goes on and on with their indie-electro-pop style. This time we have the chance to listen their unique sounds remixed by manynames youwill already know, like Mylo. Mylo’s remix of M83′s next single ‘Reunion’ got its premiere on the
Annie Mac show on Friday. Probably the best remix you’ll ever hear of a M83
track. M83 has been touring in the United States recently, so some of you may recognize the song. In our humble opinion the best remix of all.
Reunion Remixes is due to be released on 7th of May. The track list: Reunion 3:55
Reunion (The Naked & Famous Remix) 5:57
Reunion (Sei A Remix) 6:52
Reunion (Polly Scattergood Remix) 5:02
Reunion (We Have Band Remix) 5:13
Reunion (Mylo Remix) 6:02 Reunion (White Sea Remix) 4:59 Reunion (Tropics Remix) 4:36
'Greyhound' is the new single of the Swedish producers known as Swedish House Mafia and it comes with a fantastic videoclip. Steve, Sebastian and Axwell collaborated with Absolut Vodka to make a promotional video of the drink and the result is a futuristic short film, where a group of people enjoy watching a bionic dogs' competition in the desert, with dance and electronic sounds breaking the scenes. Definitly an amazing experience.
The electro kid is back with a remix for Martin Solveig. Madeon is becomingone of themost promisingstarsof themusic scene. And as his popularityis not going to stop growing in these comingmonths, so the best is youknowmore about his origin now, before everybody talk about him without knowing anything about this electronic musicprodigy.
Madeon, whose real name is Hugo Leclercq, was born in Nantes, France in May 1994. His musical career began when he was 11 or 12 years and focuses more on style and Handsup pop under the name Dj Daemon. During that time Porter Robinson known as a forum for music production. They
become friends and having conversations via Skype, for those talks,
Robinson talks about his ideology when it comes to producing music, hard
work and perseverance are very important and is fascinated Madeon. Time passes and Madeon progresses steadily. His
talent began to spread further by the world when it won the remix
contest organized by Pendulum in 2010 for the song "The island". His
victory was overwhelming taking Rob Swire (Pendulum singer) to
disbelief, saying on his twitter "if he really is 16, must be the
craziest girl in the world" I think those were his words. In the competition gained much popularity and feedback from great artists.Madeon
feel very supported by the people and that encourages him to keep
working hard, because the boards of reinforced Robinson.During the month of February 2011, released a remix for Yelle, the song "That veux tu". This remix was reached to issue during a TV show where this topic Yelle played in his concerts and even puts his remix. Madeon
was very happy and satisfied because Yelle is very popular in France
and was given a golden opportunity that definitely took advantage.
In
2011 he was expelled from the Institute which was, it was always told
that a disaster in the classroom and now wants to focus on the music
world. He wasted no time and continued his excellent work. Dropped during an interview he was doing a remix for someone Grande, which did not say who he was.The first performance was at the opening Madeon for the start of the Yelle concert in France. This performance showed that not only to music and remixes but excellent DJ skills are amazing. Starring
in that it also showed an innovator when it comes to mixing music, used
a laptop and a Novation Launchpad where I do a mashup to get you stiff.
The reaction of the people was very good.No
doubt the remix catapult him to fame is the Deadmau5 - Raise your
weapon (Madeon remix) that aired on the radio show of Pete Tong. Deadmau5
was amazed by the technique and ability Madeon, himself said that leap
from his chair while listening to this remix of how good it was and also
commented on Stream: "I did not want to have remixes of this topic
until you hear the remix of Madeon ". Madeon
commented in an interview: "Raise your weapon was an interesting
project, someone like Deadmau5 remix is obviously exciting. I wanted
to do a remix that was consistent with the rest of my music, to make
sure that people getting caught through this remix knew that was my music. " Deadmau5 through a facebook message commented that he felt a little jealous of Madeon, as this was half the young. There
was a day where you talk to him and handed me a link "secret", it
opened and I found that climbed up the Mash days ago, this link I
happened two months ago but I delete the old because it was incomplete,
missing parts and samples but the idea was there.
There are few times I saw that video but as of today I still find amazing. In July of this last year 2011 I was very surprised to see up the new Mash-up called Pop Culture. It consists of 39 songs in about 3 minutes. What
makes for Mash up is to take small pieces of songs and mix them, but so
did the visits were lower than the scores could be observed 1000 visits
and 12000 I like. It was something that surpassed the talent and genius reached. On 15 July 2011 this place a second tube set in a nightclub called "Something a la Mode" in Paris. After this lesson of history here you have the best start for your week!
A few days ago we talked about the great video of Time To Dance and put into play a bit the last EP of The Shoes. Also we said that this EP will come with remixes from DJs like SebastiAn, Dddxie or Rocky Piano, among others. Ok so here we leave the remixes!
And the winner for most charming video of
2012 so far goes to: “New France (Feat. Zola Jesus)” by Orbital, from
their upcoming album, Wonky, out on April 1 via ACP
Recordings. It follows a stuffed toy lion that ventures away from the
innocent playtime he has with his child owner, to a life of clubbing,
pool and bro hangouts. Directed by Ian Bucknole.
Veteran UK electronic music duo Orbital will be releasing their first
new record in eight years soon, so there’s definitely a good amount of
buzz leading up to it. This is the latest video and single off
that new album. There’s two huge positives right there. Combined? Music
bliss.
Finally came the music video for the track that gives name to the last EP of the italian duo who is breaking all the dancefloors where ever they go. We are talking, obviously about Cyberpunkers!!
Hot Chip is set to release a new album called “In Our Heads” this summer via their new label Domino Records, and we’ve just got our first peek at it, with an eight-minute video for the new song“Flutes”.
The song itself is pretty great, with Hot Chip
bringing their usual awesomeness to the track which is super slick and
catchy, though it also shows an evolution of sorts for the band.
Thevideo, on the other hand, will make you dizzy as hell, so you may want to keep it playing on a separate tab. The shaky, spinning camerawork makes the video almost
unwatchable, but that’s probably the point.
But you still have to listen this track of the upcoming album!
Since the last time they Rock our world we have not had notice about this duo...till now. I will take this chance to tell you a little bit about the origin of this duo...It all beganin 1985in a factoryin northernCaliforniawhichshall remain namelessfor fearof reprisalsfor our loved onesstill trapped. It is the oldBill whocreated them, one by one, ahthat oldBill, they lovedhim... They werecreated totest thecarinteriorcomfort, sothat the planthasall its starsandsell millions ofcarsworldwide. Everythingwas going welluntil one daythe factory wasrepurchased byMr.Edwards, a wealthy American industrialist, it was coldin the back, they feltthatthe worst couldhappen, but they were far fromwhatweimaginewaiting for us! MrEdwardsdecidedto use usto test carsin what he calledthecrash tests! Andthe horrorbegan...Eachmonth, twoof them wererandomly selectedfor usein horribleaccidentsdeliberatelyprogrammed. Since then, they have only onewish, release their loved onesstill trapped, their arereadyto fight, ready for the worst, they cryloudlyREVOLTE
Now REVOLTE is back with an original track and a remix for the very known track of Make The Girl Dance - Wall Of Death. This is music for animals!!
Where do you head musically, once you have produced the top notch street rappers and nu disco bands in your home country of Germany earning them a string of top 10 hits and multi gold status albums?
You turn your skills to the upfront club sounds of House and electro and ace the dance charts with a string of jaw-droppingly original cuts... Well you would if you are TAI (aka award winning producer Tai Jason), and he’s currently on fiiiyaaa.
After a childhood spent living around the world, from the UK to Thailand, as a teenager, TAI found his heart lay deep inside an MPC drum machine, and spent years collecting his legendary hip-hop beats and programming those effortless grooves. He has turned his production expertise to the club-floor producing cuts, from his stunning studio in Germany.
Being one of the most unknown faces on today’s market he’s nevertheless an extremely high demanded remixer with releases on the top labels of the electronic music section, that's possible for things like his last EP called "At The Disco" thas was released on Dim Mak Records.
Check out more of this EP, and if you like it buy it here!
We still believe CAZZETTE's remix is probably the best remix of the very famous Levels. Now Sebastian Furrer & Alexander Björklund show again what made them so famous with new original track. Hit Da Face!
The Swedish DJ duo represent the
second baby of Ash Pournouri from AT NIGHT MANAGEMENT (same manager
behind the meteoric rise of AVICII) with the name launched from nothing
on June 9, 2011. Within days, CAZZETTE released their first
release, a remix for Avicii entitled "Sweet Dreams (CAZZETTE meet AT
NIGHT Mix) "on JOIA RECORDS and it's been charting at the Top20 on
Beatport Top100 General Charts for 6 weeks straight.
Their bootleg
of Swedish House Mafia's "Save the World" was accepted as an official
remix by the boys and their highly appreciated bootleg of Adele's "Set
Fire to the Rain" went straight to the number one spot on HYPE MACHINE
most popular after being uploaded on their Soundcloud page. Already
supported by David Guetta, Tiësto, Swedish House Mafia, Avicii and
Martin Solveig to name a few, these young Swedes are about to take over
the world with their infectious take on electronic music - simply coined
Dub House.
After his last album PolisUppermost returns to the music scene. Uppermost is 17 when he discovers music production. He takes his
first steps through FL Studio and listens to some artists like deadmau5,
the Daft Punk duo or Rank-1, who bring him much inspiration. In the
space of three years, he learns to discover the functionalities and
tools of the program interface, and begins his first productions. He
then creates a melodic style which will specify every of his
compositions.
Afterwards, he decides to launch independently into music production
building an electro-house style that combines enthusiastic melodies and
strong electronic basses. His perseverance will lead some of his tracks
up to success, like “Equivocal”, third in Beatport electro-house chart
for a week, but also “Clipped”, out on Ministry Of Sound’s Clubbers
Guide 2010 Compilation.
Uppermost starts having a significant impact on the electronic music
community with his remix of Spencer & Hill entitled “303” but also
with songs like “Cake Shop Is Dope” or “Rox Sox”.
Play-listed by several famous artists like Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren or
also Steve Angello, his tracks are providing new opportunities to him.
Today, Uppermost compositions assemble quality, style and skills. At 21,
he runs ambitious projects and his constantly evolving productions
continue to carry listeners.
And now he present us his last work called Life Is A Fight, in the top on Beatport, and a new remix for Lemâitre.Short preview but you still will love it!
Opiuo is a producer / electronic musician based in Melbourne, Australia. His unique blend of highly original, extremely funky, futuristic, hoppo hop, and glitchy beats has quickly built him a strong international reputation.

The remix (Buy):
The french electronic band The Shoes get Jake Gyllenhaal to star in
the music video for their song “Time To Dance” . Donnie Darko does not like the hipsters, and hasan instinctmurderer whodo not know, but we like. The video was shot by acclaimed director Daniel Wolfe
of Somesuch & Co films (Plan B - The defamation of Strickland
Banks). Gyllenhaal previously appeared in a video for Vampire Weekends single ‘Giving up the gun’ as a crazed tennis player. You can already buy Time To Dance EP.
We could listen the remix of SebastiAn a couple posts ago, but in this EP are also included remixes of Esser and Rocky Piano. The french duo is on tour in their natal country so if you are there, don't doubt it and go to see them. For the rest enjoy eight and a half minutes watchign a psychopath killing hipsters. This is what happens whentwo dubstep teacherswork together. You have heared a lot about Kill The Noise here but if you haven't seen anything before about Datsik in the blog, please accept our apologies and learn a little bit more about this genious !
Datsik has been
taking the dubstep scene by storm, blowing up dance floors around the
globe with his original style of hip-hop future-tech bangers. In 2009
alone, Datsik had over 7 number one releases on Beatport, and vinyl
sales through the roof on many other sites such as Chemical Records,
Red-Eye and Juno. Aside from that, he has also done remixes for some of
the biggest names in the scene such as the Crystal Method, Freestylers,
Bassnectar, Noisia, Diplo, the Wu-tang Clan, and Apex from the
critically acclaimed Lifted Music label; not to mention countless
collaborations with some of the hottest producers in the scene. With
multiple anthems under his belt, countless plays from some of the
biggest DJ’s, and an endless perseverance to reach that next step,
Datsik has proven himself to be one of the best dubstep producers
