Uppermost Returns

After his last album Polis Uppermost returns to the music scene.
Uppermost is 17 when he discovers music production. He takes his first steps through FL Studio and listens to some artists like deadmau5, the Daft Punk duo or Rank-1, who bring him much inspiration. In the space of three years, he learns to discover the functionalities and tools of the program interface, and begins his first productions.  He then creates a melodic style which will specify every of his compositions.
Afterwards, he decides to launch independently into music production building an electro-house style that combines enthusiastic melodies and strong electronic basses. His perseverance will lead some of his tracks up to success, like “Equivocal”, third in Beatport electro-house chart for a week, but also “Clipped”, out on Ministry Of Sound’s Clubbers Guide 2010 Compilation.

Uppermost starts having a significant impact on the electronic music community with his remix of Spencer & Hill entitled “303” but also with songs like “Cake Shop Is Dope” or “Rox Sox”.
Play-listed by several famous artists like Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren or also Steve Angello, his tracks are providing new opportunities to him. Today, Uppermost compositions assemble quality, style and skills. At 21, he runs ambitious projects and his constantly evolving productions continue to carry listeners.
And now he present us his last work called Life Is A Fight, in the top on Beatport, and a new remix for Lemâitre.Short preview but you still will love it!

Have you met Lemâitre?

Lemâitre is a Norwegian indie-electronic duo who formed in the summer of 2010. Together, Ketil & Ulrik create raging disco beats, mixed with soft synthphrases and gripping melodies. When playing live they combine live instruments, not so live instruments and good old live vocals. In their short career, Lemâitre has gained a following from all over the world.
The Friendly Sound EP was released at the end of 2010, and the duo are currently working on new material and playing shows wherever the music takes them. Lemaitre is influenced by artists like Justice, Phoenix, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Noisia, Ratatat and Röyksopp.

You can juzge by yourself listening this couple of masterpieces  from their last EP, a very classy careful electro with perfect melodies that sometimes had remembered me to the best Röyksopp.

But that's not all, the best thing is that they are preparing a new EP that will be out on January 20!
This video is also a teaser to their new live stage. for this, they  have designed and built this thingy with help from some friends. In addition they are looking for more help to make more animations.
