Futurecop! – The Movie
3:50 PM
JFK
The duo from Manzur is preparing a movie for the end of next January. We know that this is electro music blog, but this won't be common film. Like Thomas and Guy-Manuel did once (Interstella 5555), this retro-future electronic band will present a musical movie, with 13 original productions. Where they have decided to express their feeling about nostalgia, 80s, fantasy, sci fi and imaginations. Because who has not returned to his childhood watching N.A.S.A.?
Like they said "Futurecop! is kind of like our alter ego, if you will, which allowed us to escape the real world, to our childhood memories, when everything was fun and innocent. When you’re a kid everything is new so everything is exciting, and things like race, status, appearance, image don’t matter; this is what we try to portray in our music. The Futurecop! project attempts to capture this uplifting, dreamy vibe, with that “out of this world” feeling."
To finish you can get an idea of how the movie will be listening to the first two tracks downloadable for free

Mord Fustang - We Are Now Connected
3:03 PM
JFK
Mord Fustang has changed his name several times till now. But we only will know him by this name until he change it ... again. The truth is that as he wants to call is unimportant, as long as keep doing these new electronic beats that we love so much. Last work by the Estonian has been released and it is like all his music..."An adventurously nude fluctuant immaculate rainbow-coated thunderstorm with arpeggios, 1-up mushrooms and disco basslines, plus a wobble or two" his own words.
Uppermost - Polis

You can listen already two of these tracks in his Soundcloud: 'Bios' is combination of enthusiastic melodies and strong electronic basses.
And about 'Dixit'...you will understand why we used a Daft Punk image to begin this post!

Alex Ridha, aka Boys Noize, and Mr. Oizo join forces in a common project called Handbraekes. A few weeks ago we heard an advance in the program of Annie Mac on Radio 1, but the final EP will be out in January and will contain no more and no less than four songs: Callgirls (you can already listen below), Riho, The Qat and Milc. We could hear this mix of sounds in the past with the deadly Mr. Alex Ridha bases remixed by Oizo in Transmission. The EP titled #1 release on January 23th. Best of 2011 - Villa and Martin Solveig compilations
11:10 PM
JFK
Thang & Francois (aka Villa) gathers the great successes of 2011 and presents them in a mix to start well the incoming Christmas. From Alan Braxe till ZZT the Belgian duo make a journey through all the great musical moments of the year. A mix that will make you remember how and when you found most of these songs and dances! Because 2011 has been a year full of noise.
Their words...“Disco is at the core of Villa, but we don't want to be confined by endless arpeggios and other cosmic trickery. There's so much more sounds out there, endless shades of disco to toy with.” His cohort agrees: “Everything we put out there must have a heart, an organic groove, a soul; anything to make it hit you where it matters. That comes first and foremost - we'll leave the labeling to the bloggers”. “Although we'd love to coin the phrase 'hyper-disco'!”
The other compilation comes from Martin Solveig, who bring us "La crème de la crème" of 2011 plus a few out of context classics" More than known names like Phoenix, Porter Robinson, Nero, Dj Mehd,i Bloody Beetroots, Deadmau5, Justice, Thomas Bangalter and a many many more! He has remained in the shadows after his 'Ready to go' with Kele (included in the mix), but now he is back with more force than ever!

Antidote - SHM Vs Knife Party (Tommy Trash remix)
4:39 PM
JFK
Yesterday we talked about the exclusive launch of the new work of Madeon in BBC Radio 1. Pete Tong presents now, in his show, the last remix of the song that emerged to unite two of the most important electronic bands of the moment, Swedish House Mafia Antidote vs Knife Party. 'Antidote' has been playing over and over again on the radios and dance floors around the world since it was promoted in Anni Mac's show, but we can say so far that this Tommy Trash's remix is the best that has come to our headphones!

Icarus by Madeon! The electro kid is back
3:18 PM
JFK
We personally have been waiting for this moment two months since he uploaded a video of his live on Paris Social Club with a teaser of this track. Check it because he won't disappoint you at all!
We take this opportunity to show you a little bit of his lives. This one was London in his second live ever. It is hard to believe that he is able to do this music at such a young age, so we can only say without a doubt that the future of Madeon will be something that you have not ever seen before!

Church of Noise ( B-SIDE )
11:20 PM
JFK
The bloody show us once again their sensitivest facet on side B of their last successful 'Church Of Noise'. In the latter we see the slow rhythms that we liked so much in 'Mother', because bloody beetroots won't be always an electropunk odyssey in your eardrums. They are also sublime and complex melodies accompanied with majestic symphonies of violin.

Alex Metric have been remixing to Miike Snow. This is a nice pumped up take on the piano-driven track from the Swedish trio’s new album - Alex Metric maintains the more anthemic aspects of the original without sacrificing clubreadiness.

Skrillex - Breathe
5:03 PM
noisebusters
Skrillex is a very changeable man, and he likes to try many styles in his tracks. He's of course a great producer, and although this track is very different from the rest of the tracks we're used by skrillex on this page... is a great one anyway. Enjoy.

NAPT has new EP! King Jitter
10:43 PM
JFK
Looking for in our past files we have realised that we have never talked seriously about NAPT, and this can not be forgiven. And talking about the presentation of their new EP is simply the perfect excuse to know more about this amazing duo.
King Jitter was released yesterday in their own label Red Sugar Records, that continues its meteoric rise to the top with support from know names like Crookers, Plump DJ's, Reset!, Dillon Francis and more. So here Ashley Pope and Tomek Naden bring us a dose of pure N-Funk sounds.
In the last two years of exponential increase in popularity NAPT has made great achievements. Since playing on radios like Radio 1 or Triple J, untill win the award for Best Producer, Best Track and Best Remix at Breakspoll with their remix of “Frequency”. Because we just can say that they are multi-award winning British electronic dance music production.
And now this concoction of electro, bass, house and broken beat spawned from the UK is available on Beatport, and iTunes. Enjoy the N-Funk!

The S new website
5:14 PM
noisebusters
The big new of the day! the premiere of the website of The S, and with it a new remix!
They kept this remix as a secret precisely for the grand opening of the web.
As they said "When we first heard the original version of this track, we were amazed at the arrangement and the beauty of the vocals, and we couldn’t resist bringing out our own version" So following they own remarks "A song says a thousand words" listen another massive track by The S!
Knife Party - '100% No Modern Talking' EP
4:05 PM
JFK
We talked a few weeks ago about Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, members of Knife Party, in our review to I LOVE TECHNO 2011. Today the first EP of the duo called '100% No Modern Talking' is released, and it is dowloable for free! This guys is giving a lot of talk this year and this is because since they have given the bombing, coming from Pendulum , they have not stopped innovating and destroying all dance floors with their electrifying sounds...because who has not heared 'Internet Friends' more than once in a disco?. 'Destroy Them With Lazers' was listened for first time a few weeks ago, but it's still has massive has the first time you heared it. And what could we say about 'Tourniquet'? our personal favourite. So the EP comes to his end with 'Fire Hive', a sweet dubstep final with a banger bass since the begining...oh man...you are so gonna love this EP!
Daft Punk Tribute
10:10 AM
noisebusters
Daft Punk, our favorite band, is a band that's always good to remember at Christmas and what better way than with a tribute minimix!
And speaking of Daft Punk, I guess that they are bringing to something, maybe a Christmas surprise, who knows? These are just guesses based on the wallpaper change of their official website... we will be attentive anyway!
Have you met Noisestorm?
12:21 AM
noisebusters
Hi there! today we are here to talk about Noisestorm. At the moment, he isn't widely known so there's not too much to say... only that is a great Drum And Bass / Dubstep / Electro producer from Dublin (Ireland) called Eoin and is a hard worker because he is uploading new songs every 3-4 weeks, as it takes time to produce them. But please, listen and judge by yourself.
If you want to buy Noisestorm's music you can go to Bandcamp or iTunes, see you!

Let me introduce you to K12
10:39 PM
JFK
Hi and very welcome again to our section 'Let me introduce you to'. We had not had interviews for a few weeks but the wait has been worth it. Yesterday we interviewed to Antichrist, and today we are back and have the huge pleasure of ontroduce you to K12...not just another french producer!
Noizebusters: We use to begin our interviews with a little introduction and, and how would you describe your music?
K12: Hey there, I'm K12, one of many french producers !!! How can I describe it in few words ?? I would answer diversity.
Cause I try very hard to make every new track sounding different from the pasts. Moving between many music styles as electro, dubstep, drumstep, dnb, moombahton etc...
NB: You grabbed our attention with your track The Bridge. A track that stands out in my opinion and a personal favorite. How did you come up with the idea for this track?
K12: I usually gets inspiration from other tracks that I picked up from many many others. Generally cause I think they got something special ! Something interesting and different from the mass.
For exemple, the bridge was inspired by a track from Lazy Rich that
used kind of the same bitcrushed wobble bass. So I reproduced something
quite similar and made it my way ! Its simple as that.
NB: But tell us a little bit about your origins, what are your influences and who might have played a role in shaping your sound?
K12: I never had music classes neither any "formation". I'm just a pationate person who try to live the dream ! About the sound shape, I would say that it has evolved a lot and you can be sure its going to evolve even faster. You just have to follow the movement. If you're stuck on what you can do... You're gona be outdated soon !
NB: If you would have to choose...to make original tracks or remixes?
K12: Regarding to my soundcloud, the answer is "Original" !! I sometimes do some remix for friends or exceptionally for great opportunities.
But producing and remixing is really different. I'm a producer and so my remix often looks like originals and have no way related to the originals !!
NB: Let's say that you could pick anyone, whom would you pick for your next collaboration?
K12: THE CLAMPS. We met a few weeks ago. He lives in toulouse, so we can work on heads'up. We already collaborate on GameOver EP. But we are already working on a next one together.
NB: Who is, in your opinion, the enemy public of music numer one?
K12: For the moment, the one I really admire are Knife Party. Very innovative sound. I'm totally into it and thats what I'm looking to achieve for the next tracks.
NB: Totally agree man, they couldn't be more on fire. But continue talking about you, are you involved in any other projects or do you produce music only as K12?
K12: K12 is already taking me so much time. I've got no management and no-one to help me out there ! I have to produce, promote and manage. Answering the emails is now requiring at least an hour every single day. Some choose to forget about it and dont reply to people. I prefer not to ! People is the reason of all those listens, likes, ... Replying is the least I can do !
But let's talk about your new EP called Gameover. How was collab with The clamps? We have just heared the preview of Gameover and SlowMo, and we already love them. Could you tell us a little bit more about Gameover? Maybe some special new the readers..
Everything was just perfect. We've the same pation, the same expectations. So this is just the beginning !
NB: We know you have a lot of music achievement, but what would you say is the biggest so far?
K12: I'm never satisfied !! Always moving on is the rule !
NB: And apart of The Clamps, who would you dream of sharing the stage with?
K12: This is also supposed to change very soon ! But for the moment I would say Knife Party again.
NB: What would you say is the most memorable on-stage/backstage moment and why?
K12: There no best moment ! I just love when you feel the connection between you and the public. Its of course much more impressive when this is happening on a huge stage with tons of lights.
NB: So let's back to your musical past...have you always been into electronic music or did you ever play in other kind of band?
K12: I tried a couple musical project with friends in high-school. Like almost everyone at this age !
But nothing really valuable !
NB: Do you prefer working only with computers or do you get your hands dirty playing and recording instruments? Do you use samples and what’s your opinion on sampling and copyright?
K12:Comp only ! the old fashion of using machines and instrument is quite outdated. And today, there is so many virtual instruments that work much better than any actual synths. Thats my opinion of course.
And about the samples. Everyone is using samples today. There are just two categories for me. The one that use the samples creatively and those who just put them together randomly just to try achieving what they could never do with a synth.
No need to say wich one I am ! Of course i do samples. But this is never these samples that make the athmosphere of the tracks. I would be to ashamed to simply use somebody's work without regards.
NB: This is a typical question all of our guest have to answer man, so if your studio was on fire what would be the first thing to save?
K12: Hard drives of course. But I would try to save everything.
NB: We want to know about your music taste..your favourite song, and what is music for you?
K12: There so many. I couldn't tell ^^ And what is music ? Seriously i dont know. Its expressing feelings using air vibrations. I dont know. I could talk about this for years !
NB: What are you currently working on? Apart of Gameover, should we expect to listen to an K12 release or live shows during 2012? Give the readers something to look forward to…
K12: Of course there will be things to happen ! Some collabs are on the way. Of course some new "K12 only" tracks. Shows of course ! Italy and france in january confirmed for the moment.
Austria to be confirmed in feb. A french tour in almost 30 cities from feb to June. Then the canadian tour #2 for june. Maybe with an US extension this time. And finally I'm thinking about an Australian tour for the next winter.
NB: We know you are signed in Burn The Fire, any other label at the moment?
K12: Many ^^ I couldnt list them all this would be uninteresting. But the most important for the moment is Burn The Fire. I also get a contact with Play Me rec to be followed for the future releases.
NB: Please we would like if you could recommend us some music you are listening to lately. Any new artiststo our future post?
K12: I'm gona be recurrent ! But once again Knife Party ! They last EP is just driving me crazy ^^
NB: And I'm gona be recurrent too..Killer band! Something else you’d like to mention and we forgot to ask? or any funny anecdote?
K12: 2012 - K12 ?? Maybe there is something related ? I'll let you go on this little meditation (I'm kidding its just crap !!) But lets hope this coincidence to be rewarding !!!!!

Let me introduce you to Antichrist
2:39 PM
JFK
Since Daft Punk landed in our lives we have known that electronic music is not for humans, it is more for robots, or in this case for a couple of cyborgs from outer space (but we are not comparing to Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel with them, because as Joel Zimmerman (Deadma5) said once: Daft Punk invented music after all). So let's know a little bit more about these cyborgs!
Noizebusters: Would you mind introducing yourself to the readers and how would you describe your music?
Antichrist: Hi readers! we are Antichrist from venus. hmm dunno how to describe our music… electronic? yep.
NB: Original description...what are your influences/music background and what or who might have played a role in shaping your sound?
AC: Oh that is a lot, we are big fans of Whitesnake, Van Halen and Journey… a big part in shaping our sound must be Knife Party, Kill The Noise, SebastiAn, F.O.O.L, Danger and Britney Spears.
NB: Killer bands all of them. If you could pick anyone, whom would you pick for your next collaboration?
AC: We are already collaborating with F.O.O.L so that's out. Would be cool to collaborate with Danger.
NB: Who is, in your opinion, the enemy public of music numer one?
AC: David Guetta and Lemaitre.
NB: But let's talk about your new EP called Night.Could you tell us a little bit more about it? Maybe some special new the readers..
AC: Night EP is just something we made a while back when were experimenting, and we thought it would be cool to make a dubstep EP with a nightmare kind of sound.
NB: By the way, have you always been into electronic music or did you ever play in other kind of band?
AC: Always been kinda into techno, but yeah we have played in different bands… from punk to heavy metal and just plain noise.
NB: One can perceive the metal touch in your tracks. Do you prefer writing original tracks or remixing and why?
AC: Both, because its the same thing, to us.
NB: And what would you say is your biggest music achievement so far?
AC: Official remix of Bring Me The Horizon, getting signed… man, tons.

NB: The most honest answer we have ever get. Who would you dream of sharing the stage with?
